Show Summary

Land based casinos in New Jersey are strongly against the internet betting bills there. They also came out attacking the spread of gaming across the state. APCW backs Florida as the most likely State to regulate first.

Further discussion of the EU decision to allow individaul States to regulate their gaming. Malta has opposed the regulation as they license several states already. This will lead to a 1 month delay however more significanly French licenses could be issued on time to sports books for the World Cup and the substantial tax that represents to them.

European Court Rules in Favour of Higher Taxes for Poker

In Europe this week the European Court released two seperate rulings allowing EU countries to preserve their gaming monopolies and regulate at a national level. He implies that increasing taxes and revenue is the only motivation for the new rules not 'player protection'.

The new iPhone application the Poker Players Alliance has launched to help people contact their Congressman to assist in bringing gaming rights issues before government. ThePPA.org.

Nevada: Casinos licensed in the State should keep their distance from internet gaming companies.

I-Gaming Supershow Review Video & UIGEA Passes with No Impact!
